About Us
Owned by Chris Toto and her husband, Dan, Around the Table opened in 2002 as a personal chef service, providing time-challenged families with home-cooked meals prepared in their own homes. After being asked by a client to host a cooking birthday party for their child, Chris gladly accepted the challenge, not knowing then that it would be the beginning of a marvelous adventure which would later lead her to follow her longtime passion for food and open a local gourmet shop.
After two years of traveling all over the state providing cooking birthday parties for kids, Chris knew she needed a “home base” in order to provide children with a higher-quality cooking experience. So she and Dan set out to find the perfect place – who knew it would be right under their nose in their own town! Their three daughters, Erica, Amanda and Claudia are able to walk to the shop from school to help assist Chris with the after-school cooking classes offered at the shop, in addition to the summer cooking camp program. “Grandma” works at the store, too – it truly is a family affair!

Take 95 North toward Trenton (crossing into New Jersey).
Take Exit 4 "Route 31 North" - stay to the left at the top of the ramp to go toward Pennington.
Follow Route 31 North to the Pennington Circle. When entering the circle stay straight (between Wildflowers Inn restaurant on right and Sovereign Bank on left). This is Pennington Road.
Stay on Pennington Road. It turns into Main Street in downtown Pennington. We are on the left side of the road once you enter the business district. 20 South Main Street.
For Free Parking, turn left into the driveway after our store to enter the rear parking lot.
Take 295 North toward Route 1. Merge onto 95 South.
Take Exit 4 "Route 31 North" - stay to the right at the top of the ramp to go toward Pennington.

Take Route 206 South to Cherry Valley Road. Cherry Valley Road becomes Pennington-Rocky Hill Road. Pennington-Rocky Hill Road becomes East Delaware Avenue.
Take East Delaware Avenue to traffic light at South Main Street. Turn left.
We are on the right side 20 South Main Street. For Free Parking, turn right into the driveway before our store to enter the rear parking lot.
Take 202 South to Exit ramp for Route 31 South (toward Trenton).
Follow Route 31 South for approximately 8 miles to East Delaware Avenue (Pennington Market Shopping Center).
Turn left on East Delaware.
Turn right at next traffic light onto South Main Street.
We are on the right side 20 South Main Street. For Free Parking, turn right into the driveway before our store to enter the rear parking lot.
